Terry Wilson’s worktop warehouse is based in Kingsthorpe, Northampton and has been trading for over 50 years.
Terry Wilson was a skilled Carpenter and Craftsman who created his business in 1963 concentrating on the emerging DIY market. Over the years the business developed into a major player in the worktop industry supplying tops and components to Wembley Stadium, Windsor Castle and even out into space. After Terry’s death in 1990 his son Nigel took over the reins and with the help of his mum, Sheila, moulded the business into what it is today.
With social media at the foreground of marketing in the modern day, Nigel contacted Flux Media Productions in early 2019 to help with his Facebook advertising.
We took the challenge upon us and a monthly direct debit plan was set up in order to create, optimise and post on behalf of his Facebook page.
We immediately addressed the outdated page art, which consisted of a low resolution logo. Our team took the logo and using Adobe Illustrator, we created a high definition 4k .png version which we then used to create a cover banner using a photo of his previous work, combining it with a small blur and contact information. As shown below.
Upon completing the first stage, we set up a schedule which would be used as a reference to posting. We crafted a handful of Facebook advert campaigns which would roll out on a weekly basis.
Our client Nigel insisted that he would like to post on his own behalf to retain his personal touch. Today, his Facebook page consists of a mixture of our Facebook adverts and his own posts.
